Meet our Leadership

Tom Crow
Senior Pastor
About Tom
Pastor Tom Crowe moved to the North Platte Valley in March of 2006 with his wife Kim who went to be with the Lord in March of 2012. Though he lacks formal education, Pastor Tom has been a student of the Bible for over 60 years and has been privileged to sit under the teaching and mentorship of some extra-ordinary men. Tom has previously served as a church elder, and interim pastor in three different churches, a retreat and guest speaker and has logged many hours as a Bible Study and Sunday School teacher. He accepted the Lord’s call to the full time pastorate at the Christian Community Church in Encampment, WY in July of 2021. Tom is primarily an expositor whose messages typically concentrate on a proper exegesis of a text. He holds to a hermeneutical, historical and literal view of Scriptural interpretation and his theology could best be described as orthodox and conservative. In terms of eschatology Tom is a Premillennial Dispensationalist with a pre-tribulation view of the rapture of the church.

PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of Christian Community Church is to exalt God, evangelize to the lost, provide a place of encouragement for one another, edify the believers, equip the Saints to use their spiritual gifts, and to love one another as Christ loves the church. Its doors will always remain open to all so that the church can be a sanctuary for those who seek peace, forgiveness, help, love, and encouragement in their lives.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
This statement of faith is based on the Holy Bible. We believe the Holy Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the inerrant Word of God. The Holy Bible presents a spiritual path for salvation and a guide for daily living through the example of Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, we have been led by the Holy Spirit to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Our profession of faith is that we accept that God sent His son Jesus Christ to earth to carry out the will of His Father to preach the Good News of salvation, lead a perfect Godly life, die on the cross for our sins, be buried and then resurrected on the third day. Our motivation for obedience is to glorify God rather than seek the approval of those around us.
CHURCH STATEMENT
At Christian Community Church our belief is that all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). The Gospel is our foundation. CCC is a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. We are autonomous as a church and we are not tied to or influenced by any regional, national or worldwide denominations.
The pastors at CCC preach and teach exegetically. This means teaching is done one book of the Bible at a time, book by book, verse by verse and line by line, by prayer and submission to the Word.
In community we emphasize discipleship. We desire to help one another grow in our faith through fellowship, praying together, and sharpening one another.
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15
